BOOK OVERVIEWS: In recent history, men from a variety of backgrounds have come to the same conclusion: that the Bible is about Israel only. For example: In 1861, John Mason Neale translated an ancient twelfth century Latin hymn and its title was O Come, O Come Emmanuel. Ever since 1861, Christians have sung that hymn at Christmas time, especially at Advent. Do you know what the words really mean that you are singing? In 1878, Edward Hine wrote an article titled, Seven-Eighths of the Bible Misunderstood, wherein he explains that seven-eighths of the Bible is about national salvation, i.e. the national salvation of True Israel; whereas, only one-eighth of the Bible is about personal salvation. Did you know that? In the 1960’s, Pastor Sheldon Emry wrote an article title, An Open Letter to Any Minister Who Teaches the Jews Are Israel, wherein he is of the opinion that the Israel that exists today since 1948 is not the True Israel of the Bible. In 1998, Arnold E. Kennedy wrote a book titled, The Exclusiveness of Israel, wherein he legally proves using the King James Version of the Bible that the Bible in general is only about True Israel. So, here we are in the Twenty-First Century, and the Gospel that is preached today is totally convoluted from that which was preached in the First Century A.D. by Yahshuah and His disciples, i.e. the Gospel of the Kingdom. So, where did the so-called churches and pastors go wrong? By the way, is there really a hierarchy in the Bible? In order to find out what the truth really is, we have to look at the original languages in which the Bible was written and then translated. For example, the Old Testament was written in Hebrew and Aramaic, then translated into Greek. The New Testament was written in Hebrew and Greek. Both Testaments were put together and translated into Latin, then German, and finally into English, from which the entire world received their own translation of the Bible. So, what was the original meaning of the words used in the original languages, i.e. the etymology of the words. Once that is determined, then we can go onto the next phase and discuss types in the Bible. From there, what is the Law of First Mention? How should Bible prophecy be Interpreted? Who are the keys to Bible prophecy? Where are we in the Bible prophecy timeline? During these discussions, we will find out who Yahweh chose of all the families of the earth to make His own. The churches teach universalism. The question then becomes, Who was Yahweh’s Law given to? What are the Laws of Yahweh? And then the even bigger question becomes, Who was Yahshuah sent to? All of these questions and more will be answered as you read this book...

BOOK OVERVIEWS: YAHWEH (The LORD God) and His Son YAHSHUAH (Jesus Christ) made statements with regard to Eschatology that have been “Spiritualized” for over a Millennium, which has led to the belief in Universalism, the belief that YAHSHUAH died for EVERYONE. Well, after one studies the original languages of the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, the message of the Kingdom of God was preached to and accepted by a certain House in the Bible. The other House rejected this message, and YAHSHUAH punished that House by taking the Kingdom away from them and giving It to another nation bringing forth fruit. There are only the House of Israel, the House of Judah, and the House of David, mentioned in the Bible. All three existed then, as they do today. However, most of today’s Babylonian Priesthood/Churchianity refuses to accept the secular historical position with regard to the House of Israel, and who they are today. The people groups, which YAHWEH and YAHSHUAH addressed, still exist today. However, these people are all mixed-up, and known by different names, but they DO exist. This book goes back to the origin of these people groups in the Bible, and brings them forward to the present using their old names, in order to understand Eschatology. This brings us to the major question of, “Is the Bible only about Israel?” And, if so, how does it affect our Eschatology today? This book answers these hard questions...

BOOK OVERVIEWS: Are significant numbers of humanity the product of an ancient and advanced alien civilization? Have we, across the millennia, been periodically modified and refined as a species? In short, has our genetic make-up been manipulated by otherworldly beings that view human civilization as one big lab experiment? These are controversial and thought-provoking questions. They are also questions that demand answers, answers that may very well be found by examining those people whose blood type is Rh negative. The vast majority of humankind—85 to 90 percent—is Rh positive, which means a person’s red blood cells contain an antigen directly connected to the Rhesus monkey. This antigen is known as the Rh factor. Each and every primate on the planet has this antigen, except for one: the remaining 10 to 15 percent of humans. If the theory of evolution is valid—that each and every one of us is descended from ancient primates—shouldn’t we all be Rh positive? Yes, we should. But we’re not. The Negatives are unlike the rest of us. They are different. They are the unique individuals whose bloodline may have nothing less than extraterrestrial origins.

Read Conspiracies of Conspiracies book online. Conspiracies of Conspiracies by Thomas Milan Konda, the book is categorize as History book. Read More »
BOOK OVERVIEWS: It’s tempting to think that we live in an unprecedentedly fertile age for conspiracy theories, with seemingly each churn of the news cycle bringing fresh manifestations of large-scale paranoia. But the sad fact is that these narratives of suspicion—and the delusional psychologies that fuel them—have been a constant presence in American life for nearly as long as there’s been an America. In this sweeping book, Thomas Milan Konda traces the country’s obsession with conspiratorial thought from the early days of the republic to our own anxious moment. Conspiracies of Conspiracies details centuries of sinister speculations—from antisemitism and anti-Catholicism to UFOs and reptilian humanoids—and their often incendiary outcomes. Rather than simply rehashing the surface eccentricities of such theories, Konda draws from his unprecedented assemblage of conspiratorial writing to crack open the mindsets that lead people toward these self-sealing worlds of denial. What is distinctively American about these theories, he argues, is not simply our country’s homegrown obsession with them but their ongoing prevalence and virulence. Konda proves that conspiracy theories are no harmless sideshow. They are instead the dark and secret heart of American political history—one that is poisoning the bloodstream of an increasingly sick body politic.

BOOK OVERVIEWS: Padraig O'Malley is the subject of the new acclaimed documentary The Peacemaker “A thoughtful autopsy of the failed two-state paradigm . . . Evenhanded, diplomatic, mutually respectful, and enormously useful.” —Kirkus, starred review Disputes over settlements, the right of return, the rise of Hamas, recognition of Israel as a Jewish state, and other intractable issues have repeatedly derailed peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine. Now, in a book that is sure to spark controversy, renowned peacemaker Padraig O’Malley argues that the moment for a two-state solution has passed. After examining each issue and speaking with Palestinians and Israelis as well as negotiators directly involved in past summits, O’Malley concludes that even if such an agreement could be reached, it would be nearly impossible to implement given the staggering costs, Palestine’s political disunity and the viability of its economy, rapidly changing demographics, Israel’s continuing political shift to the right, global warming’s effect on the water supply, and more. In this revelatory, hard-hitting book, O’Malley approaches the key issues pragmatically, without ideological bias, to show that we must find new frameworks for reconciliation if there is to be lasting peace between Palestine and Israel.

Lewis’s research has revealed that these Marxists fail to grasp they are being manipulated by a force whose ultimate goal is not socialism at all, but a totalitarian ideology under the misleading title of “New World Order.” But, this goal is not merely for the United States but will cover the entire world. Lewis’s research reveals that many events that are occurring today, such as the COVID-19 virus, the coming activation of the 5G network, Islamic terrorism, the “Deep State” or “shadow government,” failing countries, millions of displaced “refugees,” even the Progressive movement, are all calculated to destabilize the Western world enough that the “remedial” outcome will allow those NWO forces to take over and usher in a one-government world. My goal is to expose all of this so the American people get a full understanding that this is all very serious and dangerous to our very existence as a country and as a free people. Lewis, as a (retired) paralegal, spent his career in a field requiring careful legal and factual research, an understanding about human nature, criminal and constitutional law. He brings those skills to the research of this book.

Read Pathways of Reconciliation book online. Pathways of Reconciliation by Aimée Craft,Paulette Regan, the book is categorize as Political Science book. Read More »
BOOK OVERVIEWS: Since the Truth and Reconciliation Commission released its Calls to Action in June 2015, governments, churches, non-profit, professional and community organizations, corporations, schools and universities, clubs and individuals have asked: “How can I/we participate in reconciliation?” Recognizing that reconciliation is not only an ultimate goal, but a decolonizing process of journeying in ways that embody everyday acts of resistance, resurgence, and solidarity, coupled with renewed commitments to justice, dialogue, and relationship-building, Pathways of Reconciliation helps readers find their way forward. The essays in Pathways of Reconciliation address the themes of reframing, learning and healing, researching, and living. They engage with different approaches to reconciliation (within a variety of reconciliation frameworks, either explicit or implicit) and illustrate the complexities of the reconciliation process itself. They canvass multiple and varied pathways of reconciliation, from Indigenous and non-Indigenous perspectives, reflecting a diversity of approaches to the mandate given to all Canadians by the TRC with its Calls to Action. Together the authors — academics, practitioners, students and ordinary citizens — demonstrate the importance of trying and learning from new and creative approaches to thinking about and practicing reconciliation and reflect on what they have learned from their attempts (both successful and less successful) in the process.
Read Using Data to Improve Student Learning book online. Using Data to Improve Student Learning by Graham S. Maxwell, the book is categorize as Education book. Read More »
BOOK OVERVIEWS: This book offers a coherent research-based overview and analysis of theories and practices in using data to improve student learning. It clarifies what 'use of data' means and differentiates the different levels of decision-making in education (relating to the system, district, school, classroom, or individual student). The relationship between data and decision-making is considered and various movements in the use of data to improve student learning are analysed, especially from the perspective of their assumptions and effects. This leads to a focus on effective educational decision-making as a social process requiring collaboration among all relevant participants. It also requires a clear understanding of educational aims, and these are seen to transcend what can be assessed by standardised tests. The consequences of this analysis for decision processes are explored and conclusions are drawn about what principles might best guide educational practice as well as what ambiguities remain. Throughout, the focus is on what existing research says about each of the issues explored.

Read White Evangelicals and Right-Wing Populism book online. White Evangelicals and Right-Wing Populism by Marcia Pally, the book is categorize as Religion book. Read More »
BOOK OVERVIEWS: How did America’s white evangelicals, from often progressive history, come to right-wing populism? Addressing populism requires understanding how its historico-cultural roots ground present politics. How have the very qualities that contributed much to American vibrancy—an anti-authoritarian government-wariness and energetic community-building—turned, under conditions of distress, to defensive, us-them worldviews? Readers will gain an understanding of populism and of the socio-political and religious history from which populism draws its us-them policies and worldview. The book ponders the tragic cast of the white evangelical story: (i) the distorting effects of economic and way-of-life duress on the understanding of history and present circumstances and (ii) the tragedy of choosing us-them solutions to duress that won’t relieve it, leaving the duress in place. Readers will trace the trajectory from economic, status loss, and way-of-life duresses to solutions in populist, us-them binaries. They will explore the robust white evangelical contribution to civil society but also to racism, xenophobia, and sexism. White evangelicals not in the ranks of the right—their worldview and activism—are discussed in a final chapter. This book is valuable reading for students of political and social sciences as well as anyone interested in US politics.

BOOK OVERVIEWS: 'A wonderful and sometimes devastating book ... sophisticated, nuanced, fair-minded and yet very hard hitting' SIMON KUPER, author of SOCCERNOMICS 'This will transport you to Qatar and teach you with humanity and empathy some of the dark truths about globalisation' BEN JUDAH, author of THIS IS LONDON 'John McManus is a remarkable, compelling writer' RORY STEWART, author of THE PLACES IN BETWEEN 'Wise, well informed, fair-minded and honest' PETER OBORNE, author of THE ASSAULT ON TRUTH AN INTIMATE PORTRAIT OF LIFE IN ONE OF THE WORLD'S RICHEST NATIONS AHEAD OF THE FIFA 2022 WORLD CUP Just 75 years ago, the Gulf nation of Qatar was a backwater, reliant on pearl diving. Today it is a gas-laden parvenu with seemingly limitless wealth and ambition. Skyscrapers, museums and futuristic football stadiums rise out of the desert and Ferraris race through the streets. But in the shadows, migrant workers toil in the heat for risible amounts. Inside Qatar reveals how real people live in this surreal place, a land of both great opportunity and great iniquity. Ahead of Qatar's time in the limelight as host of the 2022 FIFA Men's World Cup, anthropologist John McManus lifts a lid on the hidden worlds of its gilded elite, its spin doctors and thrill seekers, its manual labourers and domestic workers. The sum of their tales is not some exotic cabinet of curiosities. Instead, Inside Qatar opens a window onto the global problems - of unfettered capitalism, growing inequality and climate change - that concern us all.

BOOK OVERVIEWS: In contrast to much scholarship on cross-cultural encounters, which focuses primarily on contact between indigenous peoples and ’settlers’ or ’sojourners’, this book is concerned with migrant aspects of this phenomenon – whether migrant-migrant or migrant-host encounters – bringing together studies from a variety of perspectives on cross-cultural encounters, their past, and their resonances across the contemporary Asia-Pacific region. Organised thematically into sections focusing on ’imperial encounters’ of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, ’identities’ in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and ’contemporary citizenship’ and the ways in which this is complicated by mobility and cross-cultural encounters, the volume presents studies of New Zealand, Singapore, Australia, Vanuatu, Mauritius and China to highlight key themes of mobility, intimacies, ethnicity and ’race’, heritage and diaspora, through rich evidence such as photographs, census data, the arts and interviews. Demonstrating the importance of multidisciplinary ways of looking at migrant cross-cultural encounters through blending historical and social science methodologies from a range of disciplinary backgrounds, Migrant Cross-Cultural Encounters in Asia and the Pacific will appeal to anthropologists, sociologists, cultural geographers and historians with interests in migration, mobility and cross-cultural encounters.
